Step 1 - Download the RepairSolutions2 App

On your iPhone or iPad, download the RepairSolutions2 app. It can be downloaded via this link.

Alternatively, you can:

  • Open the App Store on your mobile device
  • Search for “RepairSolutions2”
  • Download the app

Step 2 - Setting Up Your Account

  • Tap "Create account"
  • Fill out account information and press "Continue"

Step 3A - Pairing Your Innova 1000

Once you create an account, you’ll soon be prompted with the following screen:

Select “Yes” to start connecting the device to the app.

When you see a Bluetooth popup appear, select “OK.” Make sure your Bluetooth is always turned on before and during a scan.

NOTE: Turn on your Bluetooth, but DO NOT attempt to pair from your native settings.

Pairing the Innova 1000 via Bluetooth settings will prevent in-app pairing. Do not attempt it.

Step 3A - Starting the Pairing Process

Plug in the Innova 1000 to your vehicle’s Data Link Connector (DLC) port (aka, OBD2 Port).

If you don’t know where your DLC port is, click here or follow the in-app instructions.

Step 4 - Turn Your Vehicle On

Turn your vehicle to the ON position.

If your vehicle has a key, turn it until your dashboard lights up. No need to turn on the engine.

If your vehicle has a push-to-start button, press it once or twice (depends on vehicle). No need to turn on the engine.

NOTE: we generally recommend not turning on the engine, but if pairing continues to fail, it’s okay to completely turn on the engine.

Step 5 - Initiate Connection

Now that the dongle is plugged in your vehicle and your vehicle is ON, check all three boxes. Then, select “Continue.”

Wait a moment for the app to detect the Innova 1000 dongle. Select the device once it appears. The entire pairing process shouldn’t take more than a minute.

Step 6 - Enjoy Features

If the app didn’t detect your vehicle information, you may need to manually input the information.

But otherwise, you’re all set on using the Innova 1000! Scan your vehicle for trouble codes and get recommended fixes.
